The report on Southern California’s Mediterranean Biome Parks was recently published by the National Parks Conservation Association’s Center for State of the Parks. This report includes Channel Islands National Park, Santa Monica Mountains National Park, and Cabrillo National Monument. The section covering the natural resources of Channel Islands National Park is based on research and a more in-depth technical report that I produced for NPCA during an internship last year.
